Azusa Canyon OHV Area
Located off Azusa Ave north of 210 freeway, Azusa turns into highway 39, Rocky, muddy, silty canyon with many stream crossings, 4x4 street legal vehicles only or green sticker bikes and quads with spark arrestors. Entrance fee required, no overnight camping restroom at entrance limited to 450 vehicles
Located off the 15fwy in the Cajon Pass a series of Forestry Trails that criss cross the 15 Freeway, Railway and Highway138 general area, small area great for a day ride if local can cover the whole area in a few hours
Calico Ghost Town
Located off Hwy 15, about 15 miles north past Barstow, exit Ghost Town Road or Calico Road. Mostly Hard packed dirt and rock with lots of places to explore including many mineshafts and caves.
Located in the High Desert off highway north of highway 58 between Barstow and Mojave

Cedar Springs Dam Silverwood Lake State Recreation Area
Staging Area for Access to the Mountaintop Ranger District of the San Bernardino National Forest, Located near the Damn off highway 173 Access from here to Miller Canyon, Pinnacles, Devils Hole, Crab Flats, Big Pine Flat and more.
Located About 1/2 way up the Cajon Pass just past the scales. Fire road leading to Silverwood Lake about 20 miles in length. hard packed trail leading to Silverwood lake with many side trails along the way, great for a day trip
Campground and OHV Area
Located in the San Bernardino mountains between Arrowhead and Big Bear about 6,200 feet. Hard packed, rocky, and some soft trails from easy to black diamond motorcycle only trails. Campground with numbered spaces, vault toilets, fire pits and water available. On site camp host for reservation.
/ Jawbone Canyon OHV Area
Located 20 miles north of Mojave on highway 14. Access is Jawbone Canyon Road and Dove Springs Road. Tall steep canyons with hill climbs and lots of marked trail riding. Two open areas with a total of 8,500 acres of riding. Primitive camping with vault toilets.
Located 31 miles north of Baker, CA, take highway 127 from Baker. Large sand dunes bigger than Glamis, although the area is much smaller, also hard packed dirt riding, permits required. Primitive camping with Vault toilets.
El Mirage OHV Area
Located off Hwy 395 near Victorville. Very Large dry lake with surrounding hard packed dirt areas with some sandy washes for riding. Primitive camping with pit toilets.
Glamis - Imperial Sand Dunes OHV Area
Located 30 Miles East of Brawley, CA off highway 78. "Sand Toy Capital of the World", sand hills, dunes and bowls, very little hard packed areas, permits required, primitive camping with pit toilets.
Located off the 5 Freeway about 60 miles N of Los Angeles exit in Gorman. State Vehicular Recreation Area, marked trails for all riding experience, motocross track, and mini-track and 4x4 practice area. Primitive camping with benches, vault toilets and fire pits
Johnson Valley OHV Area
Located off highway 247 between Apple Valley and Yucca Valley, exit either Camp Rock Road, Bessemer Mine Road or Boone Road. Mostly hard packed riding with some sandy washes and a few sand hills, very large riding area with many points of interest. Primitive camping with vault toilets
Located in the Sierra National Forest off highway 395 just past Ridgecrest up a very steep and narrow nine mile canyon, mostly intermediate -> advance "motorcycle only" trails a couple 4x4 and quad trails camp in troy meadows or fish creek for ohv staging and access to trail system

SVRA OHV Area
Located between the Salton Sea and the Anza Borrego State Park. State Vehicular Recreation Area, mostly hard packed riding with sandy washes and many narrow canyons and many unique features. Primitive camping and vault toilets
SVRA OHV Area
Located north of Los Angeles off the Coast. State Vehicular Recreation Area. Where the sand dunes meet the ocean, camping and facilities available, only area I haven't been too yet :(
Rasor Road OHV Area
Located 25 Miles Southwest of Baker, CA off highway 15 exit Rasor Road. Hard packed riding to sandy washes and a few sand dunes as you head southeast into the riding area. Primitive camping only.
Rincon Shortcut Trail
Located off Azusa Ave north from 210 freeway, or Highway 2. A 27 mile dirt fire road that connects highway 39 to highway 2, great for a day trip ride, peaks out at about 5000 feet and has one small water crossing, I've hit snow in the winter, the water crossing is about 20 miles into the ride, must get permit ahead of time from ranger station
Flat OHV Area
Located north of Los Angeles in Canyon Country off the 14 freeway. Angeles forest trails, spark arrestors, green sticker and adventure passes are required, Restrooms are available, good spot for day riding
Located south of Barstow north of Victorville off highway 15 Exit Hodge Road or Outlet Center Drive. Mostly hard packed with some sandy washes, valleys and hills watch out for numerous abandoned mineshafts in the area.
Located south of Riverside and Orange County off Highway 74 between the 15 and 5 freeways in the Cleveland National Forest, small area great for a few hours riding if local, I covered every trail in a few hours :)
